This week, the boys and I made Healthy No-Bake Brownie Bites using chocolate Shakeology.
Back in my younger days, I used to be quite the baker. Not that I was especially skilled at baking or anything, but I did it very frequently. We always had cookies, brownies, cakes, or a fresh loaf of bread coming out of the oven.
When we had to cut gluten and dairy from our diets, the baking stopped. I had attempted some gluten and dairy free varieties, but they weren’t the same and the demand for such things in the house went way down.
We no longer have to remain free from food with gluten or dairy, but we do try to monitor our sugar intake, so we generally don’t have tons of baked goods around. When I learned that I needed to bring brownies to my MOPS group in the morning, I decided to see if there were healthier versions than I could get from a box at the store.
Luckily, I was able to find a few different recipe ideas from Pinterest using ingredients I already had on hand! Of the two versions that I made, this one was by far the fastest and easiest one. Enjoy!
